The first Adventure Bay was opened in September 1990, in South Florida by a group of experienced and dedicated educators.
Their dream was to create child care centers and pre-schools that would be safe, healthy, wonderful places for children to thrive.
Their goal, was to always stay involved in the centers and to maintain their professional commitment to Adventure Bay. Many, many years later, the original centers are still locally owned and still dedicated to Adventure Bay. Adventure Bay has seen its pre-school children grow up and has responded to parent’s needs and requests to continue child care for their grade school children. Programs for grade school aged children include an After School Program, Spring and Winter Break Camps, and Summer Camps for all age groups. The newest addition is a Summer Camp for middle school age children. Each Adventure Bay campus is large enough to provide these programs in separate areas.
In order to ensure our high standards, our Regional Director visits each center on a weekly basis. She holds a C.D.A. in Child Education and a Director’s Credential Certificate and has been with Adventure Bay for 10 years.
Each Adventure Bay has earned the Florida Gold Seal of Excellence, is D.C.F Top Quality Rated (QRS) and is Nationally Accredited. That guarantees that they follow high standards set by recognized, national professionals in early childhood education. Becoming accredited is a voluntary process.
We are proud of our excellent reputation in Broward and invite you to come see for yourself.

Our primary goal and philosophy is to start children on the path to success. We firmly believe that each and every child is gifted and precious. Each child is born with certain gifts and/or talents.
It is our responsibility to help each child discover those gifts/talents and to help them enhance them.
We do not imitate. We innovate. We are unique, we have our own ideas and style, all based on what we know will be beneficial to children.
The directors at each Adventure Bay are professional educators who hold a degree in Early Childhood Education as well as a Director’s Credential. They have presented many workshops on various topics ranging from Teaching in Pre-School to Running An Effective Summer Camp. Prior to becoming the director, each has taught pre-school, been an assistant director for Adventure Bay, and acquired first-hand experience working with and understanding children and family needs. All Adventure Bay Teachers are professionally trained in Early Childhood Education and Development and have a Bachelors degree and/or a C.D.A degree. All have worked extensively with children and express genuine concern for your child’s intellectual, social and emotional growth. All staff continue to upgrade their professional knowledge through workshops and advanced education courses. All staff have been carefully screened for excellence as well as their commitment to children’s well being. Each staff member has had a health exam and has been finger printed and registered with the state of Florida and with the Child Abuse Registry in Washington, D.C..
