When you enroll at Adventure Bay, we proudly become your partner, and you are automatically enrolled in our “INFORM AND INVOLVE” program.
That’s because we want to make it as easy as possible for you to know what your child has been learning and experiencing during the day.
For your one and two year old’s, each parent receives an “Inform and Involve” daily form which details your child’s day (What was learned, what was eaten, bathroom and diapering, naps, and anything special you need to know.)
For three’s and older, ‘Inform and Involve’ takes place by a daily display of what was done that day (Art projects, samples of cooking creations, words learned, all are presented by the teacher for your observation)
Every week, each parent receives a newsletter detailing what the theme of the week will be, (what books will be read, what creative art is planned, and so on.)
Parent/Teacher conferences are held three times a year, but a parent may ask for a conference any time.
Teachers and Directors are always available to answer your concerns.
We know our parents are busy so we offer other ways to be involved that meet your needs. Parents may volunteer to be a Room Mommy, or a Holiday Helper. Our Share-A-Parent program allows parents to take part in the classroom by reading a book, telling about their particular talent or career, helping with snacks or cooking projects are just a few of the examples of involvement.
Parents are also involved through special school activities such as our Annual Spring Hat Parade, Halloween Parade, Thanksgiving Feasts, Winter Celebrations, Summer Carnivals, and more.
We appreciate our parents by inviting them to Room Mommy Socials, ‘The Special Man in My Life’ Day, Mother’s Day Teas, Summer Parent Visitor Day, Graduations and Parties.
